This filtered water bottle is one of my favourite products to take with me on my travels. With you WaterToGo, you can take water from anywhere (not from the sea, of course, as it does not work with salty water) and the filter will remove the dirt, bacteria, viruses and protozoos from the water so it's safe to drink. I used it for the first time in Africa and it worked perfectly, I could drink water from any taps and even from the rivers!

The filter lasts for 2 months so you don't have to worry even if you are away for a long period of time. If you are traveling for more than 2 months, just take an extra filter with you, it's tiny and light so it won't take any space in your backpack and won't add extra weight.

I use the 750mls one (the bigger size), as I drink quite a lot of water. Althought they have smaller ones (500mls) on their website, I would still reccomend the bigger one, specially if you are travelling to a warm country, as you need to be hydrated!!

My recommendation: When you are using the bottle at home to store drinking water you can remove the filter and just use the bottle as a normal water bottle to take it with you on your hikes.
